The HotelCard is personal and is in your name. Therefore it is not transferable. You have to present the HotelCard together with your ID at check-in to benefit from the HotelCard discount.
If one person owns the HotelCard, the other family members in the same household can purchase the HotelCard in the first year for 39 instead of 99 Swiss francs.
